Watercolor: Capture the Brilliance of Autumn

Instructor Gina Lee Kim
October 15, 16+ 17
Fri |6-9pm| Sat |10-6pm| Sun |10-2pm|

Class Description:
In this innovative approach to a beautiful medium, Gina will go step-by-step through the entire color wheel in two parts. First, the warm watercolors: reds/oranges/yellows will be applied to a still life. Second, the cool watercolors: greens/blues/violets will be utilized in a landscape, where we’ll even go outside to paint the beautiful fall foliage (weather permitting). As Gina conducts her lively demonstrations, watch and learn as she discusses the characteristics of each paint color, how to keep hues pure and how to obtain gorgeous neutrals as well. In this fun and creative workshop, you can use the images or still-lives provided or choose your own subject matter. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned artist, discover a prismatic way to fall in love with watercolors.
